Well ... our kids sing songs bulgarian and English.
They have asked us to support our project.I hope you like it.
Thank you very much to my colleguese Saliha Kahraman
and her kids.
This is a space to share outcomes from an eTwinning project between several schools in Europe. Our pupils are from 6 to 12 years old and our team intend to share songs that children sing in their childhood, songs that all of us learn from our parents and grandparents and also in schools and much more...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAMA!
On March 8, in Romania put more emphasis on Mother's Day. Children give their mothers small gifts and flowers. Also on this day, men give women flowers that are almost as a token of gratitude, respect and love.
We dedicate the movie and the song "Happy Birthday, Mom " to all women.

8 March, Happy Pancake Day!
Hi, dear friends!
On the 8 March we celebrate the Pancake Day. It is an old tradition in many countries like England, the USA, Canada, Australia. We'd like to tell about this ritual and we found out something interesting:
"In the United Kingdom of Great Britian, Northern Ireland and several other countries around the world, Pancake Day is celebrated with fun, games, and of course a lot of eating. However, the most well known activity on this day is the Pancake Day race at Olney in Buckinghamshire, England which has been held since 1445. It all began when a woman was cooking pancakes on Shrove Tuesday to use up all of her perishables before Lent. While she was still cooking she heard the chiming of the bells summoning her to church. Not wanting to be late, the woman ran to church with her apron on and the frying pan still in her hand. Little did she know that this would start a tradition that would be around for over 500 years!"
This week Darina and I had got two lessons about this festival. Our pupils were glad that learned more of it. Hope that your children will like this holiday, too.
Kind regards, Reny, Darina, pupils

3rd March, Bulgarian National Day!
Dear, friends!
Today is Bulgarian National Day! We'd like to share with you our joy of it. Sing and dance this lovely patriotic song, "Where is Bulgaria"! It is written by the famous Bulgarian poet and novelist Ivan Vazov. Hope that you like it!
Kind regards, Bulgarian Team
They ask me where is the dawn, shine me first
They ask me where the land is just the most loving of the world ...
And I would answer, where the Danube flows
And the Black Sea to the east brighter ...
Where stands proud Balkan
And Maritza quietly pass through the Thracian Plain ...
Bulgaria, dredge and honey, a land full of goodness
Land that feeds me, bow to her ...
