Now we can understandii it better.
Happy 1st March to all of our bulgarian partners!
This presentation of the Bulgarian custom is detailed and comprehensive. I think our partners will understand very well how old is this tradition. Dear Reny, many, many thanks! You're a wonderful friend and colleague! Happy Grandma Marta to you and to your children : Svetla
Thank you very much, Betty and Portuguese friends!

Dear Bulgarian friends, two weeks ago I was talking to one of my friends about a project in her school and she told me that Bulgaria has "martzishoare' as we call them.
Now, watching the presentation I see that the significance is similar, we also hang them in the trees or plants on Florii (a religious celebration in March). The woman's name is Dochia in Romania and it is said that the first 9 days of March are changeble as she changed her clothes when she thought spring had come.
Interesting, isn't it?
Valy
Yes, Valy! The information is great!
Thank you very much for it! Now we know that there is the same holiday in Romania! It's lovely!
Many hugs and kisses, Svetla, Darina, Reny and pupils
