Let's celebrate Thanksgiving Day!

Dear, All! On the 25th November is Thanksgiving Day, one of the most famous American holidays. It's interesting to learn that "on this day people express gratitude to God for his blessings and give thanks to dear ones for their love and support". The people prepare delicious food like a roast turkey and a pumpkin pie. The restaurants suggest a special Thanksgiving Menu and everyone can enjoy it with songs and dance.
Do you like this holiday? How do you celebrate?
Happy Thanksgiving Day!

Bolero - Ravel

I got inspired by the Bolero i heard on yesterday post from Lublin.
I did a quick research and i found this video.
We can see the instruments, the way they play, we can listen to the beatiful music and feel its power.

Joseph-Maurice Ravel (1875 - 1937) was a french composer and pianist and he created this piece of art that i love.

Enjoy it!

Little ducks - portuguese version

I think this is a song is very similiar with the song that Maria had posted.
It talks about all the little ducks.
They know very well swimming, with their heads downs and their little tails to the air.
When they are tired, they go out the water and in a long line they go to the nest.

There's also a version with a different lyrics; it talks about the little ducks who are ready to go to bed.
You can check it HERE.

Greetings from Bulgaria, Reny
European Language Day was celebrated by my students in partnership with students in another school in our county. Students prepared a report about the European languages, had a contest with 15 questions about european languages, made a poster with greetings in the 23rd languages of The European Union and finally recited poems and sang songs in Romanian, Hungarian, French, English, Spanish and Italian. It was a wonderful day. They fell great and had friendships. You can see some pictures.

29 Octobre Great Holiday

Today, we are celebrating one of the foundation stones of modern Turkey: The 87 th year of the founding of the Republic.
Atatürk’s principle of “Peace at home, peace in the world”.

Canta cu mine! / Sing with me!

This song is sang by my students from the 3rd A grade, School Elena Doamna, Tecuci, Romania. I made a version in English. If you like it, you could sing it.
On the way to school I always sing /On the way back home I sing again/ How much I love to a sing all day/Music is easy, not difficult.

Sing, sing, sing with me/ It’s wonderful, it’s great to sing!/ Sing, sing, always sing / You‘ll see that it’s not so hard to sing.

If I am home I hastily sing / Even if my mother hears/I take a bath, I sing along / That’s what I like, it’s not bad at all.

Sing, sing, sing with me/ It’s wonderful, it’s great to sing!/ Sing, sing, always sing / You‘ll see that it’s not so hard to sing.

Outside I play and sing again/ And music lessons I give to kids./ I’m very proud of all I do / I won’t give up in a century.

Sing, sing, sing with me/ It’s wonderful, it’s great to sing!/ Sing, sing, always sing / You‘ll see that it’s not so hard to sing.
